This dazzling set of Paragon Fine China, Made in England, absolutely lights up the room! The delicate hand painted golden details on the cup handles and the braided gold surrounding each plate is beautifully intricate and the definition of elegance! These dishes are in excellent condition! Absolutely no chips or marks on a single piece. These dishes were produced in the 1930's. Some pieces appear to be numbered. Paragon, itself, got it's start in 1903, quickly distinguishing itself as one of the finest pottery makers in all of England. In 1926 Paragon introduced the 'Two for Joy' design to commemorate the birth of HRH Princess Elizabeth. HRH The Duchess of York was so delighted with the design she began purchasing Paragon Fine China. Thus, began a long history of royal patronage by The Queen and other members of the Royal Family. In April 1933, Paragon was honored by being granted a "Warrant of Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen" !!! Royal Warrants allowed the company to use the legend 'By Appointment' and display the relevant Royal Coat of Arms on products! What an exciting history! This set includes the following:

    (12) Footed Teacups 4" in diameter and 2 1/4" tall
